Basilique Notre Dame d’Afrique At Algiers

At the basilica, thousands of pilgrims converge annually. Surprisingly, both Christians and Muslims visit this site. For that reason, the monument represents the coexistence of religious beliefs. Confusing, eh? On the walls of the monument, you will find a sentence that reads as “our lady of Africa; pray for us, and the Muslims.” And it has fulfilled that purpose since its establishment.
