Travel Requirements If Going To Libya
Visa
Libya’s visa procedure is similar to that of many African countries. You arrive in the country and get your pass at the airport or even at the land border.
The procedure used to be complex. You’d apply for a Visa Authorization Number, and you’d submit that on arrival.
Gone are the old ways! All you need now is to get your pass and head to the embassy to get the actual visa stamp.

Passport
Appropriate your passport validation. Libya’s requirements are somewhat unique. How?
Here, you should maintain at least 6months of validation on your passport when leaving the shores of the nation. Confusing, eh?
For example, if you’re spending two months in Libya state, your passport must be valid for at least eight months.
Another thing, you must register your passport with the Libyan police no later than a week after your arrival. That usually costs around $13.
More importantly, do not include Israeli stamps on your passports. Else, you might need to get new ones.
